Edith Lillian SAUNDERS died on the 7th January 2026 at her home address. Mrs SAUNDERS had been visited by her son and daughter in law in the daytime and exhibited no signs of respiratory distress but was found late in the evening on the floor. It is more likely than not that Mrs SAUNDERS suffered a cardiac event caused by coronary artery disease which caused her to fall and endure traumatic injuries which contributed to her death.

Mrs Elizabeth Alice HARGREAVES died on the 6th December 2025 at Blackburn hospital from respiratory failure caused by severe lung disease. Mrs HARGREAVES, who lived with vascular dementia, was admitted to hospital on the 3rd December 2025 when she was found collapsed at her home by her carers. An accidental fire had started in her home which caused her to suffer from carbon monoxide poisoning which contributed to her death.
