15/05/2026 15/05/2026 GREGSON, Alan On 21 January 2026 Alan GREGSON was seen to collapse on the street falling straight backwards striking his head, against a background of recently developed episodes of collapse, the medical cause of which had not yet been established. After conveyance to hospital he was found to have suffered an unsurvivable head injury from which he died at Royal Preston Hospital on 22 January 2026.

18/05/2026 19/05/2026 GOUDE, Ian Anthony Ian Anthony GOUDE died on 23 June 2025 at Royal Preston Hospital, Preston in Lancashire. Mr GOUDE was admitted to hospital on 18 June 2025 following showing signs of a stroke. He developed malignant MCA syndrome which causes swelling in the brain and was transferred to another hospital to undergo emergency surgery to relieve pressure caused by the swelling. Despite treatment over the following days, he did not recover. Mr GOUDE was eligible for treatment by thrombectomy which was not available locally at the time of night when he was admitted to hospital, which possibly contributed to his death. 
18/05/2026 19/05/2026 PARROTT, David Wayne David Wayne PARROTT died on 17 February 2024 at Royal Blackburn Hospital, Blackburn in Lancashire. Mr PARROTT was admitted to hospital with a suspected stroke. Thrombolysis treatment was administered but he subsequently developed malignant MCA syndrome which causes swelling in the brain and he did not recover. Mr PARROTT was eligible for treatment by thrombectomy which was not available locally on a weekend at the time of his admission, which possibly contributed to his death.
