15/12/2025 15/12/2025 REDDINGTON, Stephen Jeffrey On 29 August 2025 Stephen Jeffrey REDDINGTON was discharged from Blackpool Victoria Hospital to Oakfield Nursing Home, Lancaster, for functional rehabilitation required due to significant ongoing health issues, including hepatic encephalopathy and end stage liver disease resulting from long term alcohol excess. Following admission to Oakfield, Mr. REDDINGTON sought to self mobilise and fell striking his head, and was conveyed to Royal Lancaster Infirmary where the severity of his pre-existing health conditions lead to unsalvageable deterioration and his death at hospital on the 12 September 2025.
